How the course works

Six weeks, live, together

This isn't open-ended chat, and it isn't a clinical programme either. It sits in between — six sessions with a clear shape, delivered workshop-style. No cheesy icebreakers or going round the group with names and stories: each week opens with a short settling-in, moves into the week's main focus, then breaks into smaller groups to work through that week's tools together, before closing with a brief group reflection.

What to expect

Format

Live, online, group sessions — around an hour, once a week, for six weeks. A small group (around 10 people), not a webinar — everyone's expected to be present and take part.

Cohorts

New cohorts start on set dates — the next cohort starts Saturday 7 November, running 10am–11am for six consecutive Saturdays. Once you're in, you stay with the same small group for all six weeks.

What the six weeks cover

WeekFocus
1Understanding grief — naming what you’re feeling and clearing up common myths about "the right way" to grieve.
2The emotional experience of grief — how loss shows up in the body, not just the mind, and early coping tools.
3Living with grief day to day — why it’s normal to move between grieving and getting on with life, and the guilt that can bring.
4Staying connected — finding ways to hold onto your relationship with the person you lost, on your own terms.
5Rebuilding — adjusting to who you are now, and recognising the strength this year has already asked of you.
6Moving forward — closing the course with intention, and space to think about what comes next.

What it costs
